Trout Dinner At Meeks Park

Join the Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition at 5:30PM on the fourth Thursday of April for a Trout Dinner! For the nearly 15 years, HRWC and staff members of the North Georgia NRCS have teamed up to bring you the best smoked trout dinner in the watershed! Farm-raised smoked trout will be served along with baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, cornbread, your choice of homemade desserts and a drink. Mild smoked sausage will be available again this year as an alternative to fish. This event has become pretty popular, so come early to get a table seat and bring a lawn chair (if you have one) to relax in after you eat.
