Folk Pottery Arts Festival Sautee, Ga

The Museum is part of the Sautee Nacoochee Center, a campus that includes a history museum of the region, with artifacts dating from Native American settlement and influence, through 19th century gold mining, timber and agriculture periods. The grounds include the only known restored slave cabin in the northeast Georgia mountains, portraying the conditions prior to emancipation, and a blacksmith forge where demonstrators show the strength and ingenuity required to produce and repair tools needed for survival
The Museum is located on Georgia Highway 255, ¼ mile north of an intersection with Georgia Highway 17, four miles southeast of Alpine Helen. http://www.snca.org/snc/home.php
